Privacy Policy

Teleconsult, operated by Life & Health Laboratory, BF Mactan Strip Unit 2-L M.L. Quezon Ave., Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City. Effective October 21, 2026.

Teleconsult is a tool that helps a physician turn a teleconsult SMS into a Medical Certificate and a prescription (Rx). This policy explains what the app does with information. We aim to follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), which treats health information as sensitive personal information.

1. Patient information

When you paste an SMS, the app reads details such as the patient name, age, gender, consult date, mobile number and chief complaint. This happens only inside your own browser. We do not send this information to our servers, and we do not keep it. It is not saved after you clear the form or close the page.

2. What the app saves

Saved templates (a name, diagnosis, remarks and Rx text) are stored in your browser on your device. Please do not type patient names or other personal details into a template.

3. Google sign-in and Google Drive backup (optional)

If you tap Connect Google Drive, the app asks for permission to use the app-specific hidden storage in your Google Drive (the drive.appdata permission). It stores one file containing your saved templates, so you can restore them on another device. The app cannot see your other Drive files. Patient information is never uploaded. You can disconnect at any time by removing Teleconsult from your Google Account permissions, and you can delete the backup file from there.

The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone.

4. Sharing and printing

The Share, Save PDF and Print buttons create a PDF on your device. If you use Share, the PDF goes only to the app and person you choose. You are responsible for who receives it.

5. Hosting and third-party services

The app is hosted on Cloudflare, which may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) when the page is loaded. The page also loads code libraries from Cloudflare's cdnjs (for PDF creation) and Google (for sign-in), and those providers may receive your IP address. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

6. Security

Because data stays on your device, protect it by locking your phone or computer and by using a trusted browser. Anyone with access to your unlocked device can see your saved templates.

7. Your rights

You may ask us to explain how information is handled or to delete anything we hold. Since patient information is not stored by us, deleting your browser data removes saved templates from that device.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will change the effective date above when we do. Questions: [your email address here].
